KD Hall Board Chair

For over 15 years, KD has developed a reputation for excellence in client-focused communications and integrated marketing services provided through her firm, KD Hall Communications. KD provides key insights and expertise gained by years of experience in higher education, crisis communications, strategic planning, and training. Her high energy and dedication keep her motivated while assisting clients to achieve their professional goals.

Chris Bloomquist Board Member

Chris Bloomquist is a former software engineer turned entrepreneur and founder of The Talent Mine, a mission driven tech recruitment firm based in Seattle, WA.  He also strongly believes in active philanthropy and is honored to continue his commitment as a KD Hall Foundation Advisory Board Member. As a male ally, his goal is to advance the outreach initiatives of the organization, grow brand awareness, membership, and build a strong and diverse board that can accomplish the mission of elevating girls and women in their academic and professional careers.

David Hall Board Member

David is a purpose director and a vision manager with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) concentrating in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration. A program- and project-focused professional, he has a proven track record in building, aligning, and maintaining program portfolios with an unyielding focus on clients’ experiences and outcomes. As a certified DDI facilitator, David is trained to enhance any organization’s internal communication by focusing on key foundational leadership skills and behaviors critical to successful workplace conversations. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and a two-time recipient of the Air Force Achievement Medal for exceptional leadership.

Zenovia Harris Board Member

Zenovia Harris is an accomplished author, fierce, and innovative powerhouse executive with a heart for youth! Zenovia Harris is a certified diversity professional who served as the President of the Washington Diversity Council Advisory Board where she learned the importance of being a trusted DEI messenger. In the last decade, Zenovia has worked in higher education, sales, and marketing and has owned her own businesses, and understands the impact DEI initiatives have on successful organizations. In 2019, Zenovia was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer for the Kent Chamber of Commerce, becoming the first African American CEO to lead the chamber in its 70+ years. Her role serves as the spokesperson for the business community in the 6th largest city in the state of WA which is ranked #8 in the most diverse cities in America according to Wallethub.

Karissa Braxton Board Member

Karissa Braxton is a public servant, storyteller, mission, and purpose driven woman, dedicated to making a positive change in this world through systemic and cultural transformation. Since graduating from Howard University, Braxton has journeyed a multifaceted public service career working at the intersection of human services, economic development, strategic communications, media relations, campaign management, political advocacy, community organizing, and executive leadership. Karissa is currently the Senior Communications Advisor for the City of Seattle Mayor’s Office, recently served as the Director of Communications for the Seattle Office of Economic Development, and formerly worked in the Human Services Department. Karissa is also a graduate student in the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance at the University of Washington and will be completing her masters in June 2024.

Isioma Okeleke  Board Member

Isioma is a seasoned Marketing Communications expert; she holds a master’s in communication from the University of Washington and over twelve years of experience in the field. She has worked with various clients across multiple industries, developing and executing highly effective marketing campaigns that have delivered measurable long-term value to stakeholders in Africa, Europe, and North America. Having served in various leadership and management roles throughout her career, Isioma brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the board.

Stephanie Ogle Board Member

With a background in TV/Video production, Stephanie has worked for several Broadcast television stations and on various local productions and short films. She’s been published in a variety of print publications and online since 1996. She has held leadership roles in organizations like WIF (Women In Film), as the Communications Chair for the Seattle Chapter, and as an Organizing Committee member of the Langston Hughes African-American Film Festival. She has built/maintained several websites for businesses, non-profits, and individuals (for personal use) & has done Social Media Marketing & Promotions for those clients as well, including graphic design.

Christine Stoffels Board Member

Christine Stoffels, CEO of Christine Stoffels Consulting, is a dynamic, creative, and visionary International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified leadership coach and executive consultant who sparks growth and fosters change to help individuals and teams thrive. Whether coaching individuals or teams, Christine focuses on strengths, leadership vision, organizational goals and strategy realization while ensuring clear communication, stakeholder collaboration, and team development. Christine has excellent cross-cultural facilitation skills and is particularly adept at creating spaces for listening, empathy, and compassion. Results include increased employee engagement, innovative operational solutions, and more positive, equitable and inclusive corporate cultures.
